Paul Bozzo is a scalable entrepreneurial ventures expert in the San Francisco Bay Area. Paul’s background blends over 25 years of professional experience in start-up strategy, strategic planning, angel/VC financing, SBA lending and equity crowdfunding. Paul’s specialty is working with entrepreneurial ventures to refine their business model, create an investment-driven business plan and prepare an effective funding presentation. He also advises CEOs and founding teams on these common start-up issues: legal entity selection, equity financing structures, financial forecasting and exit strategies.

In addition to his role as a Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) with the Tech Futures Group (TFG), Paul also serves as a Regional Access to Capital Specialist with the Northern California Region of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) network. In this capacity he works with high-potential clients across Northern California seeking angel/VC/SBA or equity crowdfunding.

As an adjunct faculty member for the Executive MBA program at California State University, Sonoma, Paul instructs the Capstone course in the Executive MBA program. The Capstone course curriculum concentrates on practical skill development in business model ideation, enterprise-level strategic planning, financial forecasting and angel/VC funding. Previous experience includes being the co-founder and Executive Director of the Venture Greenhouse, a full-service business accelerator serving early-stage green technology companies based in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Accelerator services included co-working, expert mentoring, access to professional services and introductions to potential funding sources. Two-time event coordinator of the Green Technology Investment Showcase (GTIS) – a gathering of 100+ start-ups, angel investors and entrepreneurial thought leaders.

Paul regularly serves as an expert panelist or speaker for events dedicated to innovation and private investment capital held in the San Francisco Bay Area. As an author, Paul has written several articles examining start-up trends, innovation, green technology and angel/VC investment.

Paul’s professional experience includes five years as a senior management consultant and lead seminar facilitator for E-Myth Worldwide, a provider of strategic business consulting services to small and mid-sized companies worldwide. In this role Paul worked one-on-one with hundreds of CEOs and entrepreneurs across five continents leading businesses ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
